Animals have always been a part of my life. In 1987 , I graduated from the Wisconsin  School Pet Grooming. I have owned and operated the Paw Patch since 1995. Wanting to learn more about dog behavior, I attended the Arizona Canine Academy in January 2004 and graduated two months later. While I was there I worked with shelter dogs everyday, interacted with wolves at a sanctuary in New Mexico, worked hands on with clients whele teachers closey supervised us and learned different methods to train dogs. This was an invaluable experience for me especially when I work with dogs and their owners everyday. I absolutely love giving doggie makeovers. It is fun to see the transformation right before my eyes. And my favorite part is when owners come to pick up theri freshly groomed dogs. We also foster dogs for New Beginnings Shih Tzu Rescue. We take in dogs in need of a safe home until we can find their FOREVER home.
